Last week, we had the honor to host at our lab in Barcelona Heikki Toivanen, Tiimiakatemia Global CEO, the organization that manages the finnish methodology that we use in LEINN.
We had the opportunity to dialogue with him and learn more about our team-entrepreneurship methodology.
What did we learn? Make our dream come true
Heikki spoke about the importance of having a dream in our lifelong learning path: a huge purpose that can help us to make decisions and to write our personal trail.
He asked our LEINNers what their dreams are: making a positive impact with our job, traveling around the World and exploring different cultures, learning and becoming the best version of ourselves.
It is difficult to understand what is the purpose that moves in our lives. Moreover, we have to be very brave to decide to follow our dreams and make them come true.
But courage is not enough because on this journey we need a map: the learning contract.
The Learning Contract is a powerful tool that can help us to understand the resources we have, where our path starts and where we want to go. It is an agreement between ourselves and the team who work and learn together.
It is an important part of the learning experience in LEINN and in TeamLabs/: we will write our contracts every year and we will share it with our teams.
Heikki suggests that we make our Learning Contract visual and share it with our team always. Learning contract is a reflection about how our dreams come true. With the support of our team members we are able to create a process to achieve our goals step by step and explore more about ourselves and our lives.
Learning as a team, create community
Heikki spoke a lot about the importance of having a dream and writing it down: in this way, our desires can be clearer to share with a team, because our mates can support us to learn and help us to achieve them.
Learning as a team is a wonderful opportunity to grow and to improve ourselves.
How can we learn together? Through dialogue – one of the most important parts in our learning by doing methodology – we can create teams, networks, communities and ecosystems.
Being part of a great and big network such as Tiimiakatemia and MTA – Mondragon Team Academy is very enriching because together we can achieve our goals faster, go further and build our dream internationally.
