The healthy and innovative cuisine of Carme Ruscalleda, the first woman to obtain 3 Michelin stars for her restaurant Sant Pau and chef with seven Michelin stars; Albert Adrià, considered by many to be the best Spanish chef (his brother Ferrán Adrià was a chef and a pastry chef at El Bulli) and the creativity of the chefs of the Disfrutar restaurant (2 Michelin stars) Eduard Xatruch, Oriol Castro and Mateu Casañas are the latest additions to the list of the best chefs who give cooking classes through their platform aimed at both restaurant professionals and amateurs who want to take a step further in their experience as cooks.
Kiko Arias and Nacho Carrera, 25 and 27 years old respectively, during their LEINN degree, created a multitude of projects with their team company, some already related to the world of gastronomy and the internet, such as the marketing agency Chef Digital, which is still in the hands of another LEINNer. In March 2020 – already graduated – they launched this new project Talent Class, and just a few days later the COVID confinement began. Although they previously thought that this situation could be detrimental to them, exactly the opposite happened. Cooking at home was one of the most popular activities during the confinement and many people took the opportunity to learn how to cook and made use of the internet to do so. This combination was perfect for the take-off of Talent Class, which quickly acquired a community of students all over the world and investors who bet heavily on this project to take it to the next level.
